Jeka Jones draws inspiration and influence from genres such as Footwork and experimental beat music and offers a contorted and sonically tripped-out sound world made up her own found and original recycled sounds. Now focusing on expanding her sound into new places, she feels no longer concerned by boundaries that come with sticking to one specific genre and sound pallet. Her approach now is to combine her own live recordings, synthesis and voice into more abstract design and creativity.
