Alexander Smith, better known as “AceMyth”, is a musician, producer and DJ from Detroit, Michigan. A purveyor of high-energy, infectious bass grooves and a dark, melodic atmosphere, Ace has built a dedicated online following with his memorable remixes of classic tunes as well as his diverse collection of genre-bending original material.

Ace has released music with multiple electronic labels including All Good Records (Griz’s imprint) and YHS Records (Detroit-based label), and his productions have been featured on Rinse FM, Nest HQ, Dancing Astronaut and the influential Soulection Radio.


In 2017, Smith released his debut EP Mythik on YHS Records which lead to multiple commercial placements with Converse and Forza Motorsports, and he is currently working on his follow up to be released in early 2019.
